French mid-19th century gilt bronze and champleve enamel vase

In the manner of Barbedienne, Paris

The body with a dark blue ground, beautifuly decorated with champleve enamel flowers within red ground surrounds decorated with scrolling foliage, flanked to each side by a mythological beast handle, on four elephant head's feet

The vase has its original removable glass liner, etched with scrolling foliage.

One very small dent to the top rim (not visible when glass vase is inset).

Size:

17.5cm high, 9cm diameter

20.5cm high, 11cm diameter with the glass liner.
