A rare French 19th century Orientalist style gilt bronze and enamel rectangular frame, the thick bordered frame with rope-twist edges and scrolling filigree work, mounted with ten turquoise-ground enamel panels with green, blue, red and yellow flowers and a further ten circular medallions of flower heads in similar colours.
This frame can work for a mirror, a portrait or a landscape painting.
